About

Commercial demolition that keeps your schedule on track.

Lumberjack Demolition Co. is a CSLB-licensed commercial demolition contractor based in Upland, California. We self-perform warehouse demolition, office and retail strip-outs, restaurant gut-outs, tenant improvement (TI) demo, and full commercial building removal across the Inland Empire, greater LA, and Orange County.

We run every commercial project under CSLB License #1116650, carry general liability and auto insurance, and operate to Cal/OSHA safety standards. On structures that fall under SCAQMD Rule 1403 (demolition of buildings that may contain asbestos), we coordinate with a licensed abatement partner and file the required demolition notifications before a single wall comes down.

Commercial work lives or dies by the schedule. Because we self-perform — crews, equipment, and hauling — we hit our start dates, we finish when we say we will, and our numbers don't drift mid-project. COI naming the owner or GC as additional insured is available before mobilization.

Residential or multi-tenant single-family project? Head to house demolition. Not sure which fits? call (909) 905-5197 — we'll sort it in five minutes.

FAQ

Things people ask us first.

Do you pull demolition permits in the Inland Empire?
Yes. We pull commercial demolition permits in every Inland Empire city we serve and coordinate utility disconnects (gas, electric, water) before structural work. On projects that fall under SCAQMD Rule 1403, we file the required demolition notifications.
Can you work nights or weekends?
Yes. Commercial tenant turnovers and occupied-campus projects often need off-hours work. We schedule nights and weekends when the project calls for it — at no premium surcharge in most cases.
Do you recycle demolition debris?
Yes. Concrete, steel, wood, and mixed C&D are sorted and recycled wherever possible. We provide C&D recycling documentation on request for LEED and diversion reporting.
Do you coordinate with GCs and property managers?
Daily. Most of our commercial work is GC-driven. We hit your schedule, we attend your site meetings, and we document progress with dated photos.
What's your insurance coverage?
General liability and commercial auto. A Certificate of Insurance naming the owner or GC as additional insured is available before mobilization. License verifiable on the California CSLB website (#1116650).
Do you handle SCAQMD Rule 1403 compliance?
Yes. We are SCAQMD 1403 aware and file the required demolition notifications. If suspect materials are identified, we coordinate with a licensed abatement partner before demolition begins.
How fast can you mobilize?
Typical commercial mobilization is 5–10 working days after signed contract, assuming permits are clear and COI is issued. For TI turnovers with existing permits, we can start sooner.
